Koi Japanese Cuisine: what do users think?

Sarah Mann: Love this place! Great food, clean, fast and friendly.

Luz Rojas: Good food

Erick Frey: is great.

Owen: Amazing food. The udon and soba are great, but the sushi is the real big item. If you plan on eating there, though, make sure you have a reservation. They are very, very busy.

Screaming Tuna Milwaukee: what do users think?

Jordan Kaminski: Milwaukee is not a city where you're going to get the best sushi you've ever had, but of all the options in town, Screaming Tuna has the best

Alle Esor: . Highly recommend. Such a fun and delicious experience!Vegetarian options: All vegetarian items on the menu are specifically labeled. Loved to see it!

Kyoto: what do users think?

Ahmad Mahmoud: In my honest opinion I think they have the best sushi in Milwaukee. I’ve tried many sushi restaurants and they still are my number one choice. Food is exceptional and my favorite roll is the Snow White Makki. The customer service isn’t amazing and high end but to me it’s not a big deal. Sometimes you have a very good waiter/waitress and then other times not so good.

Liz: This is hands down the best sushi place on the south side of Milwaukee! Get the Ricky Roll, you won't be disappointed. All you can eat sushi and lunch specials are awesome. Check their website for more.Update! Newly renovated since my last visit! The space is much larger with clean and modern bathrooms.

Hungry Sumo: what do users think?

Kim Galvez: Amazing food. Best ramen I've had in a long time. They're sushi is incredible as well. Great atmosphere and service. I come here every time I'm in Milwaukee.Vegetarian options: There were many options for veggies or to turn into veggies and veganDietary restrictions: They are friendly and ask if there are restrictions

Joe Mayer: Sushi and service was great. Menu has a wide variety. Only negative was that we had to wait 1/2 hr and there really isn’t a good place to stand inside on a cold night. Warm nights it would be no problem to just stand outside. Dining room is very informal and has been crowded/loud all three times we’ve been here. We don’t live near here but will definitely come back.

Ray Juaire: A true hidden gem in Bay View, about 8 minutes south of the historic Third Ward District, downtown Milwaukee. We tried their version of crab Rangoon, it was great. We had one pork Ramen dish and a teriyaki tofu dish. The Ramen was the best I've had. The teriyaki was perfect, not to saucy or sweet. Service was great, food came out fast. We went there on a Wednesday at 5 and it was packed. That tells you locals dig it!

Kawa Ramen and Sushi: what do users think?

Etrit: Very cute date idea

LORD, SUKANYA: I forgot to take a “before” picture - but the food presentation was on point. Great quality for their sashimi and ramen. We absolutely always get extra egg, pork belly, and wood-ear mushrooms. Wait time was almost non existent and the service was polite and professional. There is a full bar on premises and you can order drinks there.

Fujiyama (West Allis): what do users think?

Rae Lwren: Not my first visit, and won’t be my last!! Absolutely amazing engagement, huge smiles on staff, extremely friendly and everyone is included. This is by FAR THE BEST hibachi grill in Wisconsin. Food is AMAZING, meat is tender and vegetables have wonderful taste, full of flavour. Great performance, truly! Thank you to this young man who made our day! I recommend the Filet Mignon from the hibachi grill menu, great portion size and the miso soup. Mandatory 20% tip but it is WELL WORTH THE TIP!! ♥️Kid-friendliness: Completely kid friendly! If kids can’t have alcohol from the hibachi experience, there is an alternative so everyone is included !

Beth Graf: Always order to go because parking is impossible unless you are walking. Take the to go to veterans park and have a great day 🏻🍱🍣Recommended dishes Chicken Satay, Milwaukee Roll, Rice N Roll Dumplings, East Side, Awesome Roll, Tuna, Tempura Recommendation for vegetarians Highly recommend Vegetarian offerings Large vegetarian selection …

Danielle Deprey: Had a nice birthday dinner for my husband with our kids this weekend. Food tasted great. We had a bit of everything. Soup, edamame, crab rangoon, sushi and Pad thai. Would recommend and go back. Only negative was the sushi rolls slightly falling apart.Kid-friendliness: Didn't have a kids menu or kids size options, but had no issue with dish sharing.

john forrestal: My go-to thai place, it is uniformly good across the board.

John Evers: The Thai curries were amazing! Great flavor wirh generous servings and a reasonable price. Service was very good.Vegetarian options: Many entrees are available wirh tofu or with additional vegetables instead of meat.

Scott W: This was a solid 4 stars. Could have been 5.We got a table right away. The hostess and server were friendly, and helpful. Not sure if it was a staffing issue, but our service was really spotty. Sometimes it was prompt and other times we had long waits, like the time between getting our drinks, and placing our orders. At the end of the meal, I had to approach the hostess to pay our bill.We had several questions and the service did a great job to help understand some of the specialty rolls. We ended up getting several appetizers including, Crispy Calamari, Pot Stickers, and Sashimi. Then we had a Specialty Roll, Mega Salmon. Liked everything with the exception of the Calamari, heavily breaded/battered, and tasted more like onion rings that octopus. Everything else was the right temperatures and tasty.Good place if you need a quick meal, but it's not on my A List for Sushi/Asian.

Claudia Baker: My favorite sushi spot in Milwaukee. The fish is super fresh, the menu has a lot of different options and the staff is very kind.Food: 5/5 …

Tanpopo Ramen & Sushi Restaurant: what do users think?

Anthony Dickens: it's has great umami flavors, rich smooth butter taste while not being over done. The sushi is hand rolled to order and has always shined no matter how simple the roll is.Sooooooo freaking good !!!Worth every penny !

music24Klm: First time trying and we absolutely loved it! The place is so cute inside, we were seated in the sunroom. There was a wait to get a table since it was busy, we totally understand and it was less then maybe 10 min. Loved the kpop music and our waitress was so nice. Like mom serving up food, making sure we ate enough and very polite. Had the spicy salmon sushi roll, so yum! Bf had the spicy miso, I had the dumpling soup. Blown away by the rich flavor. Tried the milk tea, def tasty and not as sweet as typical boba places. We will be back for sure to try more food and sushi!

Bradley Rhode: My first time having ramen other than instant noodles. The food was really good for the cost! Everything was very delicious and every part of the dish was fantastic. The only thing warmer than the noodles, was the service; the lady who served us was very nice and fun to talk to. Really enjoyable environment with very good ramen. Will come again.

Trevor Keith: Food is always delicious, usually a bit busy around lunch time, but food is always worth it.My personal recommendation is the Spicy Mazemen, but their ramen is also fantastic!Parking: Plenty of parking for the number of seats, drive-through window is never busy

Diane Kowalski: Started with avocado and salmon tempura, which was crunchy, creamy, and so delicious.I had the Spicy Dan Dan ramen, which was excellent, plentiful portions of pork & pork belly, perfectly cooked soft boiled egg, and the spiciness was just right. The Tonkotsu ramen was rich and delicious. 😋 I will be back

Gayle W: Fantastic food. Ramen is excellent and I love the firecracker rolls. Absolutely great expetience. The best part really is the staff and owner. They are very kind and engaging. They joke and make you laugh. It's kind of like having your mom cook for you. All fresh really fantastic. I would like to say that I am not really a sushi person but everything I had here was beyond excellent. I have gone twice now and both times food was fresh and delicious and the owner was the neatest. My husband says the same as me. Not really a sushi person but loved everything we ate. We tried a variety of items..

Vince Main: I'm not one to dole out 5 stars because I had a good experience, but I've been there twice now, and I've enjoyed the food and service. The dining area is quaint and clean, but I really didn't post much more attention than that.I've had from there now the Ramen and the unagi don. The unagi don was warm and melt-in-your-mouth tender. Shrimp tempura was light and warm as an appetizer, as well as a salmon nigiri with furikake that doesn't fill you before you've received the main course. Our server was nice and accommodating. She comped a set of children's chopsticks after we sent back a dish that was unfortunately overseasoned. The dish was remade as well. I didn't get a picture of the food. I'm typically not that guy, either.I'll definitely be returning.

Josh W: -Tonkotsu ramen is excellentSpringy noodlesGood pork flavor in broth-The chicken curry is excellent-Bulgogi bowl is excellent

Ashley M: Absolutely excellent food and mostly nice staff. Our one bad visit is when we came once when the dining room was wide open but they we're expecting a couple big reservations in over an hour from then and they acted like it was a problem or a burden to seat us. They made a big show of making us wait while they looked around the dining room and "checked in back". They ended up reluctantly seating us. We were done with our meals and out of there before the big parties even arrived. So treating us like they were doing us a favor to seat us was a bummer because we love the food here so much and have been regulars for years now. At that particular meal we had brought 2 people with us from out of state who had never been there. We raved about it and were really disappointed that had been their first impression. Needless to say, this encounter hasn't stopped us from returning. We've had pleasant experiences since. Maybe that was just a bad day, I'm not sure. Glad we haven't experienced that again.

Kanpai Izakaya: what do users think?

Brian George: Pretty solid sushi place that was close to our hotel, there's a parking garage basically right next door. Went on a week day so hard to gauge how popular this place is, the 'O My God' roll was fun they light it on fire at the table. I had the ginger old fashioned, it was a pretty mid old fashioned. The bathrooms need some help with cleaning. Service was fast and friendly. Bottom line, worth it as a dinner option but wouldn't be my top pick.- Cheers

iDental Wisconsin: We love this place…. Love their flaming sushi!!! “O My God” is the best flaming sushi ever

Theresa “Lazermaker” Kettner: Ordered the ❤️⛵

Julie O: , so we made reservations ahead of time. Everyone ordered something different, and everything I tried was exceptional. I really loved the Hawaiians volcano as they light it at the table, and it brings a beautiful flavor to the roll. I had salmon belly nigiri, and it was exceptional. The Boss roll was so flavorful. We also had the Sweet and Spicy Gyoza which was truly delicious. I can't wait to go back.

GinaG1234: This was one of the best sushi experiences I’ve had! We went on a Saturday evening, and it was phenomenal. We got seated immediately, and was greeted kindly by our server, Emily. We had fried pork gyoza and the stuffed avocados which were amazing. We also had the crunch munch, rock n’ roll, a California roll, shrimp tempura maki roll, MKE roll and the flaming Oh My God roll. We also dipped on sweet pear drink. Our server was so incredibly attentive and kind. She would see about anything we need. Ultimately, this is a place that every person who loves sushi should go! This is an outstanding place for sushi.

KIN by Rice n Roll SUSHI BAR: what do users think?

Stephanie Kuenzli: The ramen was delicious. I give that 5 stars. But the wings were disappointing. Tiniest things I've ever been served. Barely any meat. I won't order those again... But the ramen was so good, I'll go back again for that.Wish there was more parking. Had to walk quite a distance from my parking spot to get there.

Jauntéa Maxey: and you’ll have a fantastic bowl! Wish I had known, because at some point I just couldn’t eat around it or stomach it any more. I recommend to the restaurant to have them on the side or just exclude them if they refuse to get them fresh. Americans are certainly not accustomed to that taste or smell. Even the waiter said they had quite a few customers turned off to the Ramen because of this same issue. Why make a fantastic $17 bowl of Ramen and then ruin it?On the flip side: the Teriyaki Beef Bowl was delicious. The Mango Sticky Rice was on par and the Matcha Cheesecake was a delight. Everyone’s sushi around us looked amazing, although heavy on the rice, so just consider how much rice you are getting with a massive roll.Parking: Limited 2 hour parking around. There is a parking lot nearby but is paid parking unless you get it validated at Jose’s which they only do if you pay to eat at Jose’s. Not sure why that lot is monopolized in Wauwatosa’s eating district by one restaurant.

Patricia Tarleton: , tom yum ramen, and tofu pad Thai. Everything was delicious. The ramen in particular was a revelation. The broth was so delicious! If you are in the Wauwatosa area, you should definitely try this place!

Crys Christensen: Our family loves this restaurant so much. We love being greeted every time we come with Michelle’s wonderful smile too. The food has always been amazing and never disappoints. It’s always a work of art too.Our dinner tonight was amazing as always and beautiful!! Thank you.

Jamie Perez: My boyfriend and I absolutely love this restaurant! We always come every special occasion or whenever we’re craving for their food. It’s a great restaurant for people like me who aren’t a big fan of seafood, but want to try different foods. The staff are very kind and respectful. They are hard-working and always do such a great job. It’s always clean and the atmosphere is very calming with the music and the lighting. I think the Japanese culture is very beautiful and they do a very good job showing that inside the restaurant.💖

Wasabi Sushi Lounge: what do users think?

Tay Cobus: I’ve been ordering from Wasabi for the last 4 years and my food has been so good every time. I usually order online and pick it up, always on time, always quick. Anna and Jay especially are the absolute best Vegetarian options: The sweet potato roll with cream cheese and the tempura veggies appetizer are my favorite.

David Baylor: Took the family for dinner. Between the four of us we had Yakisoba noodles, kalbi, bulgogi, and chicken katsu.Food was really good with just a few exceptions. Portions for the kalbi and bulgogi were small. The shaved beef used to make the bulgogi was so thin that the sweet sauce was all you really tasted, not the beef. Our biggest complaint was that they had the doors that led into the mall wide open. Wasabi is at the entrance to the mall and a lot of cold air was coming in. Had my jacket on entire meal. A lot of others in other booths did the same.Service was great.
