The venue was great and we were able to pick our own caterer, decorator, and other vendors which was super convenient. They helped a lot with ideas for those as well. Thank so you much Clai!

Andrew Ferguson: We absolutely loved having our event at The Box, and planning with Jamie Berger and Levine was such a treat! We originally had our wedding celebration planned for May of 2020, then due to covid moved to October 2020, then once again to October of 2021. They could not have been more accommodating for us moving our event 2x, during a time where their business I am sure was taking a hit due to the pandemic. Both Jamie’s were always incredibly responsive and accommodating to whatever we needed during the whole process.When it came the day of, they came in even a bit earlier than our contract time to make sure the band could setup on time. During the actual event, I don’t think it could have possibly gone smoother than it did. Our manager Katelynn had everything under control, the bartenders were great and our guests never had to wait for a drink, and when it came tear down time Katelynn had helped pack all of our decorations so we could continue to go and enjoy ourselves.Thanks again to both Jamie and Jaime for helping us have such an amazing day, and would 1000% recommend using The Box for any sort of event.
Cathy Fischer: We hosted our daughter's wedding ceremony at The Box this past weekend. Working with Jamie Berger was an absolute joy. She was so accommodating, had great insight for setup and was so helpful with decisions at Rehearsal and a major player on Wedding Day. Jamie has a warm personality mixed with humor that chased all my anxiety away. We had a wedding party of 16 in addition to the Bride and Groom and had seating for 170 at the Ceremony and the venue was plenty spacious. I would highly recommend The Box for an event and couldn't be more pleased with our experience.
Cindy Cooper: Can’t rave enough about having my daughter’s wedding at The Box last weekend! I worked with Jamie Berger so I knew I was in good hands. I can’t even imagine all the work that went into getting the space ready. All I know is that when we walked in I knew my daughter’s vision had come to life. Jamie nailed the ambience. The staff that night was excellent —- very quick to remove any dirty dishes or glasses. All seemed very friendly and dressed well. The bartenders were particularly fun. For me, it was a great experience from beginning to end. I highly recommend The Box!

The venue is beautiful with the Cream City Brick wall and massive square footage. I worked with Jaime Levine. She was very attentive to all of the details for my Grandma’s special day. I appreciated her and Autumn’s assistance. I highly recommend this venue… as you won’t be disappointed!
Sam Boyle: Where do I begin? First of all, Jaime and her staff were very friendly and willing to work with us with everything going on with the pandemic. They were gracious enough to let us postpone our party until the following year which allowed us to get our whole family to the party. Leading up to the party, they helped us with everything we could think of along the way. From planning to catering to working with the band that we hired. My wife and I couldn't be happier with how everything went, and everyone that attended said they loved the venue. Highly recommend!
Amarii Hall: The Box is an absolute gem in the city of Milwaukee. Not only is it in the heart of downtown, but it also is the perfect venue for your next event. I love the versatility this space has and there is so much room for creativity. Being in contact with the owners and coordinators of the space has truly been an eventful experience and I would highly recommend getting to know them. My event was pushed back one day because of the Bucks finals and they were more than understanding, they were flexible. If you're looking for a space to have your event with a perfect set up and a welcoming environment, this is the place for you. 10/10, would recommend.

With this being a whole new experience for me, she made sure I had everything I needed and took care of everything behind the scenes. We had our family picnic here a couple of summers ago & it was awesome! It's huge & also has roofing with no walls or doors with picnic tables in case it rains. It absolutely perfect!

Kevin Golliher: We used this venue for my sister's memorial service. It was a great atmosphere, the space has great character. The staff was friendly and helpful, even when we couldn't get people to leave on time. My mother uses a walker and it was a little rough getting her into the building. Once inside she was fine, including a handicapped bathroom on the main floor. I would book this venue again.
Michelle: We recently rented out the boat house for our small fall wedding and it's a great location and a great price. We would rent here again in the future. It's also a great way to support the park systems we all love to enjoy

T C.: Saz’s and Michelle were so great to work with! Michelle made our wedding magical and made it so enjoyable for us and all of our guests. The space is large and accommodating and the loft space is a nice get away if needed. The food was amazing as well and we got many compliments! Forever grateful for this team!

Michelle and the entire team have been amazing— Quick to respond, patient, kind, and so knowledgeable. Food stations were spaced throughout and we sat and sampled the different options. Food was very good, the consultants stopped at each table to answer questions. It really helped us narrow down our menu selection. It is a nice venue and well organized.

Hannah Davis: We got married a few weeks ago and we are so incredibly happy with our decision to have our reception at The Grain Exchange. Maria and Christean were phenomenal to work with - from the initial consultation through the day of the event. Everything, from the gorgeous room to the fantastic food to the flow of events, was spectacular. I had many people comment that the food was the best they've had at a wedding. That's what you get with Bartolotta's! The day was above and beyond what we had hoped for and we can't recommend the team at The Grain Exchange highly enough.

Otherwise, there is a parking lot adjacent to the building.Not only that, I find it special when the chef comes out to show their gratitude and socialize with the guests. Chef David was gregarious and hung out with us as we meandered room to room. You can tell he takes great pride in what he’s created with his incredible team. The stories behind each artifact to why he chose what dishes to make, it kept me entertained for hours.

Chris: Group tour. The chef is very ambitious as he told us how he bought the building and restored it. He showed us how to use and select knives and cutting board do's and what not to do with it. Demonstration on making a Holiday Raspberry Cranberry Jam. Tour of building and a tasty selection of goodies.
Kelsey Greenwood: We had our rehearsal dinner at Chefs Table and the staff was amazing. The planning process was smooth and enjoyable. The staff went above and beyond to bring our vision to life.From the walk through to see the space, to the special sit down with the Chef to curate a meal based on our food preferences we loved our experience.We highly recommend renting out the lower level for your guests to explore even more and get a richer experience with the unique touches the Chef put into that building!Chef David we felt the love made in our food especially the Beef Bourguignon and hope so many more guests get to experience the same.
