Buckley's Restaurant & Bar: what do users think?

Brandon Newman: Absolutely fantastic! After a long day of traveling and an afternoon walking all around Milwaukee, I came to Buckley’s with my parents for dinner. This converted home has been turned into a fancy-casual restaurant with an exquisite atmosphere. I tried the Broccoli starter, which came with a nice miso tahini sauce that provided a unique flavor. The Buckley Burger was one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. The meat itself was so high quality and full of flavor, and the crisp brioche bun and toppings and condiments complimented the burger perfectly. I also had the Lobster pasta and it lives up to how delicious a lobster dish has to be. Absolute class when it came to combining the lemon and tomato flavors with the lobster in a light pasta dish. My Dad also says the salmon dish he had was really good. For dessert, it was hard to choose which of Mrs. Buckley’s items to get. We got the famous carrot cake and the seasonal St. Patrick’s cheesecake. All I know is that Mrs. Buckley doesn’t miss! Both desserts were so delicious and the high quality showed once again. The service was great, too. We were never rushed even with the restaurant being packed. The waitress was very nice, answered questions, and told us a little bit about the Buckley family. On top of everything mentioned, the pricing was very good and the portions were large. Overall, this is a restaurant I trust after my first visit. You can’t go wrong with Buckley’s. 5 STARS!!!!!

Robert Whitehurst: A beautiful restaurant with excellent food. I had to sit at the bar because I did not have reservations. To be fair it was Valentine's weekend.I took an out of town guest for dinner and his initial impression was that it was very "fancy". However, after dinner he confessed that it was one of the best meals he had every eaten. He travels for business and eats in many restaurants. He proclaimed that it is certainly a hidden gem in Milwaukee and would definitely return when he is in town.

Steven: Fried artichokes, cheesecake, and carrot cake were particularly amazing! Great service & ambiance too.Prices very reasonable for this high quality of food.

R Elle: , wine and divine desserts - everything was perfect. Carlie and Taylor “had me at hello” because they were both good listeners trying to understand my goals and needs. Buckley’s is higher end and worth it! Call ahead to get a sense of parking. Just amazing & thank you!

Katie B: in the cooking and baking. I had Mahi Mahi on a bed of pasta and pesto. Delicious. Appetizer special was bread served with a delicious cheese and a cheese spread. Just O.K. All four of us enjoyed our meals. Each dish had multiple tastes that came together beautifully. We will be back. Recommend calling to get direction on parking. We heard

Melissa Mondragon: The building is beautiful! The food was perfection. From the truffle fried artichokes to the seafood risotto and the salmon to the tuxedo cheesecake. The sangria had the most delicious combination of spices. This place is for foodies! You will not be disappointed. Ask for Joe to be your waiter. He's exceptional! 10/10 would recommend this wonderful establishment to everyone!

The Capital Grille: what do users think?

Joseph Henderson: Capital Grill is always one of my favorites. I love the service but for some reason I have been a little disappointed in their food. This round had lobster bisque and salmon with couscous. The lobster bisque was amazing. The salmon and couscous lacked flavor and salt. I know salt is objective but even when added it lacked other flavors. I am providing a great review because service is always top notch.

Ray Tyers: Fantastic Ribeye 22 oz of heaven. Our server, Angel, was perfectly attuned to our needs and kept us well lubricatedDefinitely a must go

Joseph Cassidy: First time in, Friday night for two of us for a friend’s birthday. Everything was superb, food was so delicious, staff was very accommodating. Friendly and helpful service from my questions over the phone before booking, to altering our reservation, to dinner service with our wonderful server Moi, to serving my carry-in cake. Homemade bread was excellent and their tomato sauce was out of this world. I got the cioppino he got the ravioli and we just kept raving about the sauce. 5 stars highly recommend

Kristi: Вкусно, как всегда. Обожаю это скрытое сокровище!Диетические блюда: Сервер действительно старался убедиться, что я могу найти немолочные варианты!

Michael Ballard: Great place to bring a family eat steakVegetarian options: Great place to bring familyDietary restrictions: I highly recommend this placeWheelchair accessibility: Plenty of wheelchair space

Bob Scheers: was an absolute professional but also a very kind person who didn't bother to tell us a bit more about Milwaukee, about the beers they have, about what food might be the best for us...If you visit Milwaukee, visit Mason Street Grill!

Jezzie O: Right off the bat... friendly attentative hosteses. The restaurant was beautiful. Great bread and sparkling waterr upon request. The drinks were tasty and robust. The salad was fresh and crisp. I choose the filet medallions with foie gras... it was nothing less than ahhhmazing. I definitely recommend. I was too full for dessert but there's an item I'm definitely coming back for!I appreciate this restaurant.

Aperitivo: what do users think?

John Contreras: Beautiful place with the best happy hour I've ever been to. The burger, pizza, and hummus are divine!!! Definitely a great place to stop by after work and to top it all off the staff are great!Highly recommend!!!

JC: . Plenty of booze in them though! My custom pizza was excellent. Highly recommend. Clearly fresh ingredients. Definitely will go back.

Thomas LinScents: The first time i had this place was before a concert. The spaghetti and meatballs lacked flavor but the drinks and Caesars salad were both excellent. Fast forward to today, and lets just say, i will continue to be back. For q happy hour priced pizza, that was absolutely delicious. Yummy in my tummy. I really contemplated getting a 2nd pizza...Stopped in for the Happy Hour specials right before a concert. The service was good, the drinks hit the spot right, but the spaghetti and meatball... the Caesars salads were pretty good. Even for happy hour prices, let's get back to the spaghetti and meatball. The sauce didn't have any flavor and tasted watered down and the meat ball was hideous. Not even on par with subway meatballs. Nonetheless I'd be back for the drinks and salad

Darius Wright: Nicely decorated place. Noticed they had outlets at the bar to charge your devices. Lunch menu was various sandwiches and salads.Parking: I walked from work nearby but street parking seems limited.

Katharine Miller: !

I tasted their premixed mojito and it was too sweet. Pleasant to talk to, articulate and knowledgeable. Food was excellentFood & drinks: Had dinner at the bar and served by Gary who was a superb bartender that made one of the best mojitos from scratch that I’ve had in a long time . I tasted their premixed mojito and it was too sweet. He made it perfect. Pleasant to talk to, articulate and knowledgeable. Food was excellent

Gavin Lee: I really enjoyed the service and food! Unfortunately the ‘ automatic 18% service charge’ goes to the restaurant and not the waitress I had. I understand owning a local restaurant is not easy but this did make my bill higher than it needed to be since I am still leaving an additional tip for my waitress. Again, food and service was awesome though!

Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar: what do users think?

John Smith: My wife and I went to Fleming's in Brookfield for my 35th birthday. I put in my reservation online that afternoon, and I have never been treated so well, fed so well, and enjoyed myself so completely at a restaurant.I was wished a happy birthday in person by most of the staff, and given a birthday card which was hand signed by the entire staff. Then the service began. Our server was a true beacon of excellence. She was friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. She kept our drinks full, removed plates the moment they were clean, and was always there when we wanted her to be, but let us enjoy ourselves whenever she wasn't needed. I don't think she came by without accomplishing something for us and we were never waiting for her. The suggestions she made were easy to follow, and her explanations of the offerings were spot on.Flemings food is incredible. We had the Tuesday 2 person special and every single morsel put in front of us was an absolute treat. The table bread was warm, fresh and fluffy with 2 kinds of butter that I could write an entire review on alone. Cesar salads were fresh, crisp and delightful with amazing salty crunch from the crisp prosciutto. The side dishes were elevated delights. Their baked potato was better than most meals I've had at restaurants I enjoy!I have had A5 Wagu beef from the Kobe Prefecture 1 time in my life. Other than that, this is the best steak I have ever had. I have to point out that, A5 Wagu is cheating to begin with. The steak was seared and seasoned to absolute perfection. It did not need any sauce or additions, but the 3 salts they bring with it each add their own additional layer to the incredible flavors the steak already has.The bar is stocked and staffed by experts. Their wine list is excellent. The desserts are a decadent display of delicious decorum. In short. Go there. You will be very happy and very full.

Ken Schwabe: Food was awesome! Service excellent! We had Carrot cake for dessert, best we ever had, easily a 5 plus star steakhouse, will be back in near future.Recommended dishes Baked Potato Plain or Loaded, Signature Onion Rings, Fleming's Potatoes …

Easy Tyger: what do users think?

B Maza: Easy Tyger, a cozy ramen spot on Brady Street, promises a flavorful experience through Japan's iconic dish—quite possibly the best to be found in Milwaukee. The tonkatsu ramen was flavorful with its perfectly textured noodles, soft-boiled egg, and tender pork belly. But a tad more attention to the broth could elevate the experience by adding more robust flavors expected in a classic ramen bowl. Additionally, the abundance of seaweed may overwhelm some palates. Despite this, Easy Tyger's warm atmosphere and authentic flavors make it a destination worth revisiting for a ramen rendezvous in this vibrant and eclectic neighborhood.

Carrie Ann Cramsey: Sometimes I wake up dreaming about beefy boy ramen

The Noble: what do users think?

Jennifer Withers: We love this place so much we now regularly drive two hours to eat here. The cake will change your life. Don't skip it. The servings are HUGE, and I've never had a meal I didn't like.Things to know that to me add so much charm:-The menu changes every day, no, you can't see it ahead of time.-It's tiny, cozy, and intimate.-If you want to be seated right when they open, you'll have to join the line outside which usually forms 30-45 minutes before opening. Even in the winter months.-The cake is a homemade family recipe. It's actually perfect.-All the staff are so friendly. We always love seeing our server!Highly, highly recommend.

Crystal Mariza Bucio: that I will be craving for the rest of my life! Although seating is limited, getting in for early dinner was great. Food and service was stellar! Definitely a new favorite spot!

Ben Hornickle: I’m not one to write reviews, but this absolutely blew me away. The service is the best I’ve ever had. Incredible knowledge of the menu. The menu has constantly rotating entrees and they all sounded delicious. They have one chef in a small kitchen and the food he produces makes a mockery of anything I’ve ever been served. The price is amazingly affordable for the quality of service and dining you will receive. Truly a hidden gem of milwaukee and the Midwest. A must visit. We will be back regularly.

Timothy Rose: and lastly, thank you to the valet parking attendant for being so speedy and gracious. Go.

Joshua Guiles: I was there for a dinner event. The decor and atmosphere was immaculate! The room we were in had so much natural light, I think I enjoyed it more than most.I had the filet, it was 10/10.Sarah was one of the servers that took care of us and she was incredible. This place is definitely swanky. Bringing a date here will definitely impress. You can also see the lake from the room in the photos. There was also valet parking.

Cathy Gorski: This was a birthday treat for me. Hadn't had a "Wow!"meal in awhile. This meal had many Wows. Everything was really good. Staff was friendly, helpful and efficient. Food was so good. And with rewards we had $25 off a bottle of wine. They recognized my birthday with a pretty and delicious dessert. Atmosphere was quiet and pleasant. All around really nice experience.

Weston Brice (Bricebox): Full disclosure: I am a Bartolotta employee. Also, everything here is fantastic! Cocktails are inventive yet familiar, the food is excellent and innovative. This is the spot to show off Milwaukee and Bartolotta to a visiting guest.Kid-friendliness: Please don't

Jillian Faye: We celebrated my birthday here last weekend and everything was phenomenal! Our server Sarah and her assistant Zoe were fantastic! They both were very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. The cocktails were delicious! Our appetizer and our 3 course dinner were to die for! We were so stuffed by the end of our dining experience! We will definitely be back for another indulgent evening!Parking: We had no issue finding free street parking almost immediately on a Friday night around 7:30pm.

Siena: Had a lovely time there on New Year’s Eve. Dinner was delicious! Black truffle ravioli was great. Veal soup wasn’t what we expected but it was okay. Scallops is so far the best of all the restaurants I’ve been to! The filet mignon was overcooked when I cut it open but they quickly had it remade and It was cooked perfectly the second time. We loved both dessert, thought chocolate would be really heavy and dense but it melted in your mouth right away and the flavor and sweetness were just perfect for us. Overall it was a great experience. We stayed for the party and really enjoyed our time there. Will be going back to try their regular menu for sure!

Santino's Little Italy: what do users think?

John Reddersen: Everything was really good, except the arancini, which was just OK. The rice was overcooked to the point that it tasted pretty much like fried breaded cheese. All the pizzas, including the gluten free one were delicious. The gluten free pasta carbonara a friend got was amazing. I would never have guessed it was gluten free. They also have a great Amaro selection for after dinner and the espresso was also very good.Dietary restrictions: The gluten free carbonara, garlic pizza, and chocolate cake were delicious and this is from someone who doesn't need to eat gluten free trying them from a friend who does.

Ross: was even behind the bar taking a personal interest in his business which I loved. Overall excellent experience, will be definitely coming back.

Karla Martinez: Everything was super good , but the tiramisu was amazingRecommended dishes Calamari Fritti, Gigante Meatball Plate, Bianco Pizza …

Tony Hilbert: amazing. Just the leftover crust from the pizza is better than the entire pizza at most places. Santo and Greg

Dee O'Neill: The pizza was delicious. Crust had a great chew & crunch from the wood fire oven. Thin crust. Toppings were - just enough. The calamari was good, and the bruscetta was scrumptious.I can't say enough about the kindness of the staff, over the top!The atmosphere is cozy. Take your loved one or a first date. You'll be going back. It'll be a favorite, trust me.Be certain to make reservations. There are 2 small steps to get into the restaurant. I did not see another way in for wheelchairs. There is street parking.

Dale Baker: Ate here tonight for the first time with my son and daughter and it was an amazing experience from the moment we walked in the door. We were greeted immediately by a hostess, and as we were being seated one of the two owners walked over to greet us and shook our hands as well. Our server, Tom, was amazing. Very engaging, explained the specials in detail down to the ingredients used to make each plate and answered our questions about other dishes and made recommendations to us. He was beyond friendly, worked very efficiently around us and visited our table at least 5 times during our dinner experience. The food….5 Stars on each item we ordered and we shared two desserts that were equally amazing as the food. On our way out the second owner was at the front, thanked us for coming in, asked us about our service and the food and was super friendly as we discussed their background and when they first opened up the restaurant.I will certainly be back and I will bring and recommend this place to all my family and friends.Thank you Santinos Little Italy for a wonderful experience.

Mader's Restaurant: what do users think?

Stephanie: I came here with my boyfriend from out of town. We were seated promptly. We had our pics taken by Nick the friendly Valet gent. Our server was mediocre. We were surprised that bread wasn't a staple and we had an upcharge of 2.00 for the 🥨 pretzel bread when the dinner plates were 40 bucks a person. We went here bc it was rated high and we are both of Hermanic descent. I am second generation half Bavarian and Austrian -Irish, while my sweetie is Swiss Irish. Our server could have been more outgoing. But the food, atmosphere, and the greeter and valet were otherwise top notch. We would recommend this destination resteraunt fir sure when in Milwaukee for sure!Parking: We had the sauerbraten and red cabbage. It is outstanding. Paid meter pking or paid valet plenty of pking.

Эрик А: Got to skip school while on a trip to this restaurant. Didn't even try any dishes. Freakin' love this place.Update: the waitress is kinda a hottie ngl.I've arrived again, THE WAITRESS IS FIRE!!! I recommend it to everyone.

Ellen Breithaupt: I started with liver dumpling soup, which was delicious, & much to my surprise my granddaughter loved it! I then had salmon from the “lighter side” of the menu, it was delicious, perfectly prepared & served atop red bell pepper flavored spaetzle. My granddaughter said her chicken fingers & fries were the best she’s ever had!Our major letdown was the Apple strudel. Mader’s desserts have been wonderful in the past. This wasn’t! It was apples wrapped up in phyllo

Dave Maier: The long hallway in the back of the restaurant has pictures of all the celebrities that have dined there. Pretty fun to look at.I HIGHLY recommend Maders

Zarletti: what do users think?

Edward Kutz: was terrific all evening, with great timing. All 10 of us we delighted with our meals. Thank you so much for a great evening!

Steve DiGregorio: First time here from out of town, i sat at the bar for dinner as I was dining alone. The bar tender was very friendly, attentive and had some good suggestions on the menu. I ended up starting with the mussels which were excellent, the sauce was great to dip the warm bread in. The Carbonara was good as well, I thought the portion size was good, in house made pasta, cooked slightly al denté which is exactly how it should be. Very nice. The wine selection is good, with plenty of great Italian wines to choose from, and even wines by the glass had a nice selection. It was a pleasant experience. I will be back.

Mern: Zarletti’s is always food prepared well. Two criticisms exist each time I visit. First is that presented with specials of the day prices should be included or expressed by the server. A diner shouldn’t have to ask. It’s uncomfortable for all concerned and unnecessary. The second relates to GF. Having a GF option available for pasta is very nice. But a $4 addition to the price for something that is not preferential but necessary is a slap in the face even if they do make their own. It says “we don’t really want to do it, but if you insist we will.” As GF pasta is never worth the calories, the added cost makes this menu option easy to pass up.Unfortunately then secondo options as backup are minimal. Having eaten my way around Italy I am aware that flour is not necessary to this portion of an Italian meal. And yet it is at Zarletti’s. Having to eat GF, and having eaten here four times, I have tried all that is possible with two of those choices being specials. Eating the special of the day can possibly be GF but with prices not listed, there’s a 50/50 chance of being costly and prohibitive so the check can be a surprise if you don’t ask the uncomfortable and obvious question. What is bothersome though is that many of the secondo options could easily be GF as would exist in Italy but there is no desire to make it so. So what remains is a sense that GF is not welcome. When all is considered, Zarletti’s is great food. If you’re GF and plan to eat here often your dining options are limited and possibly more costly.Atmosphere rec’d 3 stars because the music is too loud for the small space and the selection doesn’t add to ambiance but is rather an annoyance.

Kimberly Knuckles: In Milwaukee for The Blues Fest and what a marvelous time it was. But First we had to put something special on our stomach before the show. Bon Appetit baby!!! We both order the Pesto Salmon and Potatoes, the sides was so plentiful we shared the Sumptuous Wigdor Lobster Mac n cheese and Brussels sprouts, 🔥🔥🔥. We sat in the lounge area enjoying the Piano being played, some really good notes that I knew the song too. It was definitely a nite to Remember. Will be back to try the steak for sure. 10/10. ✌🏽🖤KimParking: Valet $10

Stefano Bertera: Had Dinner with colleaguesIs a Nice Stakehouse for the city ...Nice dishes choices. Not the best food I've ever have dut ok ... probably there is to much butter for my taste .. but is good food .Service is quick and 👍

Ron Andrews: Great food but more importantly the service is best in class.

Caleb Krause: We used the valet, walked in, and were greeted quickly by the hostess. The downstairs was full on a Friday night so they seated us upstairs. I preferred this because it was quieter and felt more relaxed. The pepperjack mac and cheese was really good, but came out a bit cold. Steak was cooked properly, but was pretty tough for a filet. Served and runner were both polite and not overly conversational, which I appreciated.

Sanford: what do users think?

Billy Harlow: Wonderful food Cozy atmosphere, very good for romantic evenings. The wife and I will definitely be going here again.Recommended dishes …

Scott V: Omylort was this good.We chose the 7 course tasting with pairing and could not have been more pleased.Of all the dishes the scallop was probably my favorite for one simple reason... I liked it. Normally I will not eat scallops because the texture or flavor or both are a turn off, but not with these. These had enough firmness to not be jell-o-ie, yet still weren't tough. They didn't have a 'dirty' flavor that I often experience, but had a very nice caramel crisp from being seared. Talking to our waiter, it turns out they get them "dry packed" and that maintains the freshness as though straight off the boat.Whatever the reason, WOW.Now for what was my real favorite turned out to be the goose sausage and duck, although personal preference is that the duck be just slightly more cooked, that did not take away from the dish.Every bit of love a chef could put into their profession went into this meal. Were it proper to give a huge to the person that pleased the tastes this well, I'd go back just to give a firm embrace of thanks.Amazing, thank you.
